Travel the Great Outdoors

I was fortunate enough have the opportunity to go snowboarding the other day. I’ve been going at least once a year for the past few winters now, and as much as 4-5 times some years! I’ve been pretty busy lately, so when I got the chance to go even on a Friday, I made sure to seize that opportunity. The weather usually dictates what I will wear when I go snowboarding. For colder, rainy seasons, I will have to wear the snowboarding jacket I got for Christmas. But if I go later on in the season or if it’s just not a cold winter, I’ll wear a t-shirt over a long-sleeve thermal. This year was more of the latter type of winter: it hadn’t rained much but had been unseasonably cold. The day we were going to go snowboarding was just going to be in the 50’s, which really isn’t too cold. What I ended up wearing was this very light polyester pullover that was able to wick moisture, dried fast, and worked great as a baselayer or midlayer while snowboarding all day. I’m hoping to go snowboarding a few more times before the season ends. If I do go and the weather all of a sudden becomes colder, there are many online retailers that offer winter gear for whatever activities you’re into. Cotswold Outdoor is an outdoor clothing and equipment retailer for men, women and children. There’s also a winter gear section that have very popular brands like The North Face, Salomon, Columbia and much more. Winter won’t be here much longer, fortunately there are more Spring and Summer activities to gear up for.
