Body Helix Ultra Light Face Mask Review

Disclaimer: I received the Body Helix Ultra Light Face Mask to review as part of being a Bibrave Pro. Learn more about becoming a Bibrave Pro (ambassador), and check out Bibrave.com to review, find, and write race reviews.

Body Helix was founded in 2008 with the goal of addressing the issues of uncomfortable compression gear that did not really work as intended. Today, they offer compression gear for almost all body parts you can think of, most notably for the knees, thighs, and elbows. When I found out Body Helix developed a face mask, my initial impression was that a company focused on compression gear would not be able to make a face mask that doesn’t compress as well. But they were able to use the same, comfortable material found in their other compression products but tailor it specifically for the face, allowing users to breathe freely but not be hurt from wearing them for extended periods of time.

Here are the product details for the Body Helix Ultra-Light Face Mask found on their site:

  • Optional nasal bridge wire strip controls air leakage and glasses fog
  • Flexible, closed-cell fabric prevents transmission of water, viruses, and germs
  • Disposable filters reduce risk of transmission while maintaining breathability (Purchase replacement filters here)
  • Large over-the-ear strap design reduces ear discomfort during long-term wear
  • Ultra-light, 0.5 mm ultra-thin fabric ideal for hot temperatures
  • Unique non-slip fabric fits snugly to help reduce need for adjustments and minimizes contact between hands and face

Considering the amount of companies and stores selling face masks these days, it is important to find ones that are comfortable, protective, and stylish. I am happy to say that Body Helix checks all those boxes.
