Military Nutritional Supplements
A few of my friends from high school decided to join the Army after graduation, so I was able to hear many first hand stories about boot camp and what it was like to be in the military. A part of me has always felt that I would do pretty well in boot camp, well the running part at least. From what I’ve heard, you need to be able to run two miles at about a 7-8 minute per mile pace, which I can usually do on a training run. The harder parts would definitely be all of the other fitness tests that are involved. Sure, I’ve been going to the gym pretty regularly, so I would be able to do simple exercises like pushups, pull-ups and probably sit-ups. But I usually give myself a lot of rest in between each set and workout compared to the circuit-like workouts that I assume boot camp workouts are like. I tried going through a similar exercise at this local gym a few weeks ago and was exhausted after the warm-up exercises, which is pretty pathetic.
