Marina Kitchen is one of the restaurants at Marriott Marquis San Diego and they’re opening a tasting bar which is great news for hotel guests who just need to unwind from the day while staying at their lovely hotel. They will be hosting a monthly wine series to allow you to try a number of different dishes and the wine pairings that go with it. To kick off the wine series, Marina Kitchen will be hosting a wine hang out on Sunday, January 17th at 6PM. “The first event features famed American sommelier, winemaker, and author, Andre Hueston Mack of Mouton Noir for a fun and unconventional dining experience. The event will be the first of an ongoing series and takes place at Marina Kitchen’s new Tasting Bar, which is a unique update to the restaurant and a perfect hang out for locals and guests alike.”
The wine hang out is open to anyone that is interested (not just guests of the hotel), you’ll just have to make reservations in advanced. I found a Facebook post that says if you mention that post, you can receive $5 off. Check out the food menu for the event and the wine pairings that will go with it. You’ll definitely want to reserve as soon as possible!!
