Adventuress High Performance Sunscreen Swipes Review
As someone who spent a lot of his childhood and high school years outside in the sun, I was pretty careless about protecting my skin against the sun. I only knew a few runners who would wear sunscreen before a run, a couple more did wear hats. Fortunately, I was pretty self conscious about my body or else I probably would have ran shirtless like some other teammates. As I got older, I did understand the importance of sunscreen. But the few times I did try to use it, my skin would react with it to the point where I felt like I had gotten burnt from the sun (so I didn’t immediately conclude that it was the sunscreen’s fault and not the sun..) Since those few instances, I’ve stayed away from wearing sunscreen although on extra hot days, I do try to wear a hat when I’m out. I haven’t really tried any other sunscreen just because I’m afraid my skin will react to it.
But I did get the opportunity to test out these Adventuress High Performance Sunscreen Swipes. It’s kind of like a hand wipe, but there’s sunscreen on it with just enough to apply a layer on your arms, neck, face etc. I think it’s a little bit less than I’d like to apply, but better than nothing. And the best part, my skin didn’t react to it! They actually have a nice smell too which was a plus. I would definitely recommend these for people with sensitive skin and like the convenience of the wipes.
