AquaHydrate Electrolyte Water Review
AquaHydrate is a great tasting, high pH water that’s rich in bio-available electrolytes and minerals. It’s a nice alternative to water and high sugar, electrolyte energy drinks. I drink water almost exclusively when I’m at work (although the subsidized vending machine sodas are usually pretty tempting). But after so much water, you eventually get tired of drinking it every day. Whenever I have a race or hard workout, I will sometimes have a sports drink like Gatorade or Powerade, but I know it’s not the best thing to be drinking. AquaHydrate is a nice combination of regular water, but with the electrolytes of an sports drink. I’ve tried having some AquaHydrate before, during and after a hard workout and I feel like it’s helping improve my performance and recovery. I guess the only problem I have is that these 16 ounce bottles are too small and I end up drinking multiple bottles in one sitting!
Here are some additional details about AquaHydrate that I found on their website:
Ultra Purified
5x UV filtered water, no flavors, no sweeteners
Water is filtered into our system where cutting-edge pharmaceutical grade UV filters clear impurities and strip water of unwanted harmful dissolved solids.
Electrolyte Enhanced
72 bio-available electrolytes for hydration and recovery.
A proprietary blend of electrolytes and trace minerals called ConcenTrace enhances our water with 72 different electrolytes and trace minerals. We source our electrolytes and minerals from the mineral-rich marine regions of Utah to ensure quality and taste.
pH+ Supercharged
High pH to help combat acidic waste in the body and bring you back to balance.
AQUAhydrate changes the “DNA” of water by using electrolysis (electric currents) to supercharge our water. Because of this, our pH level is raised from neutral to an alkaline pH9+ state without the use of liquid concentrates or additives.
