GoScope Extreme – GoPro Pole 2X Telescoping Pole Review
One of the main reasons I wanted to get a GoPro was to use during snowboarding season. I have gone at least once (sometimes 4-5 times) each season for the past couple of years now. I’ve gotten enough experience that I rarely fall anymore, which is great. I’ve tried recording what I see during a ride using my smartphone, but the footage isn’t that great and I can’t record myself riding down. This is where the GoScope Extreme, GoPro Pole 2X Telescoping Pole comes into the picture. The main function of this GoPro pole is to be able to record yourself from a distance to capture yourself, but also the environment around you. The unique design of the GoScope actually allows two GoPros to be attached, so you can record yourself but also in front of you too. It’s super light (6 Ounces), so you don’t have to worry about struggling while you’re recording and probably the coolest feature is that it extends, 2 times! When it is contracted, it’s about 17″ but can extend all the way to 37″ which is quite the distance! It allows you to capture a lot more, including your full body and the scene behind you, which is great.
Some other cool features include:
- Fits in your backpack
- Comes ready to attach to your GoPro Camera
- Durable in Saltwater, Freshwater, and Snow
- Floats with One Camera Attached
- Indestructible: Made of Forged Aluminum and Poly-carbonate
The cool thing about the GoScope Extreme, GoPro Pole 2X Telescoping Pole is that it can be used for so many different activities including: snowboarding, surfing, running, scuba diving, hiking, and more. I’ve seen people have their dogs carry the pole in their mouths and record that way. The possibilities are truly endless. I definitely recommend any GoPro user to add the GoScope Extreme, GoPro Pole 2X Telescoping Pole to their current group of GoPro accessories.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received GoScope Extreme, GoPro Pole 2X Telescoping Pole for free from GoScope as coordinated by Deep Creek PR an Outdoor Retailer Public Relations Company in consideration for review publication.
