You know a trend is popular when they make a shoe just for that activity. I had the opportunity to review the Reebok Crossfit Nano 4.0 shoes and was quite impressed. As the name says, these shoes are strictly for crossfit workouts and exercises, but seem to work quite well for that purpose. My first reaction to these shoes were the looks, obviously. They look really stylish and have a unique design with the upper and branding along the sides of the shoes. It wasn’t too flashy and the colors seem to complement each other. It’s definitely one of the better looking shoes that I have owned before.
When I first tried them on, I immediately noticed the wider toebox which is great for someone like me. I’ve worn shoes in the past that squeeze my toes together, causing unnecessary blisters while working out. They seemed to fit true to size, which is another positive. In terms of cushion, my first reaction was that there was not enough support in the insoles. But after going through a full workout in them, I was mistaken. They are light and flexible, while providing adequate support to protect my feet and body.
I was able to test out the Reebok Crossfit Nano 4.0 shoes for the past few weeks and have been impressed at how well they’re holding up. I’ve been able to participate in a wide range of workouts and the shoes are able to respond and support my feet as needed.
Some quick facts about the shoes: as mentioned before, the shoes feature a unique Duracage protective upper. They also have what they call RopePro protection wrap and a 4mm heel to toe drop for stability. Most of my workouts are indoors, but the open weave mesh upper allows for easy breathability. And the multi-surface outsole allows traction across multiple surfaces.
