Cherry Blossom Bonsai Tree – Silk Plants Direct Review
I’ve never been a big fan of flake flowers and plants. You can always tell from that plastic shine on the leaves and since you don’t have to water them, you get lazy and ignore them and then the leaves start to collect dust! And you’ll never get to enjoy the fresh smell that comes with real plants and flowers.
I had the opportunity to review some products from Silk Plants Direct. This online store sells a wide variety of artificial flowers, plants, trees and more. The first question I had when I learned about Silk Plants Direct was if any of the plants or flowers were actually made out of silk. Well, here is the answer to that from their FAQ: Our silk flowers and artificial greens are made from wide range of synthetic, latex and other materials. Artificial trees often may have a real tree trunk with artificial branches. So even though they’re called silk plants and flowers, they do not appear to actually be made of silk, which I suppose should not be surprising.
Because there are so many to choose from, we didn’t know where to begin. We started with the silk flowers but ended up going with a slightly different plant. I’ve always wanted to go to Japan and see the cherry blossom festival. But what better way to experience it than by having your very own cherry blossom bonsai! I bought a real bonsai tree many years ago and had the hardest time keeping it alive. I eventually stopped watering it and the tree died out and I had to get rid of it. I won’t have to worry about killing these trees this time around.
