Wahoo Fitness Tracker – TICKR Heart Rate Monitor Review
There are some fitness products that do not innovate as quickly as others. Smartphones innovated at a very rapid pace, but recently, seem to have hit a plateau. There have been quite a few changes in the fitness tracking vertical, including: new fitness watches/bands, smartwatches, apps, heart rate monitors and much more. The Wahoo Fitness Tracker is a pretty unique product that is definitely worth talking about. The model in particular, the TICKR Heart Rate Monitor allows you to workout and exercise in a whole new way.
From a technical perspective, the TICKR is similar to other heart rate monitors. It connects via bluetooth and ANT+ (which means you can use it with a GPS watch or device), provides real-time tracking, can connect to over 50 different apps, is sweat and waterproof and has a replaceable battery. In addition to your heart rate, the TICKR Run analyzes your movement at the center of your body. It doesn’t matter if you’re running or working out, the TICKR X can count your miles and your reps! The TICKR X can also record up to 16 hours of workout data so you don’t have to constantly delete or clear your memory. Similar to other HRMs, it can count how many calories you’re burning, but also tell you how hard you’re working (based on various data points). There are also custom training plans in the app that can help guide you to accomplish whatever fitness goal you may have.
If you’re really serious about working out and hitting a particular fitness goal, you should definitely consider looking into the Wahoo Fitness, TICKR heart rate monitor.
