Xyience Xenergy Energy Drink Review
Good luck trying to pronounce the name of this product. Although the name Xyience Xenergy is super complicated, the ingredients and benefits are not: all natural flavors and colors, no sugar, no calories, enhanced with B vitamins, nutrients and minerals and 11mg caffeine/ounce. XENERGY is the official energy drink of the UFC and NACS 2011 award winner for best new carbonated beverage.
I got to try a few different drinks, the Xenergy + Hydration (tropical punch and grape) and Xenergy + Tea (raspberry acai and honey ginseng). The +Hydration is sugar free and zero calorie, with electrolytes, B vitamins without the dehydrating effects of caffeine. The +Tea was a black and green tea drink which I was pleasantly surprised with.
Before I tried the drinks, I assumed these were simply Monster/Red Bull competitors. But after learning more about the ingredients and benefits and actually tasting the drinks, I realized these are much better than the rest. I used to drink a Monster for the 2 hour drive to and from LA when visiting family on the weekends. I just can’t stand driving long distances (I would actually start getting sleepy within the first 20 minutes of the drive!). Because of that I always stocked up on energy drinks to make sure I had some handy for any long road trips. But I’ve learned to function without them, which is good considering how bad they are for people. I bought a case of energy drinks at Costco about 2 years ago, fortunately didn’t finish the case (still had like 10-15 left), I actually have 3 more in my car that I haven’t touched.
I’ve been drinking The Xyience Xenergy drinks before and after workouts, but have been able to drink them at work just when I’ve been thirsty, which is an added benefit. It’s definitely worth trying the next time you need an Xenergy (pun intended) boost.
